With our alma mater kicking off practice today we’re officially in hardcore, bang-head-against-locker countdown mode to college football season. At the beginning of August one of our favorite things to do is study the weekly schedules in order to take a stab at where ESPN’s College Gameday will end up on any given weekend.
As we’ve gotten a few years older and a few years removed from living the campus life we’ve added a new aspect to this ritual: determining which town will exhibit the most female talent on any given football Saturday. Our appreciation for the CFB Eye Candy Phenomenon grows exponentially every year in line with our perviness.
So this year we’ve constructed the College Gameday Coed Schedule, highlighting which college football matchup will also feature the best assemblage of female talent. We ran it by Herbstreit and he’s totally on board.
Week 1: Alabama vs. Clemson (Atlanta).
The actual Gameday Week 1 location, Atlanta will add to its already formidable talent people when both fan bases flock to the city opening weekend. We’ll be buying drinks for any pretty ladies who look like they’ve already had a few too many.

Week 2: Miami at Florida.
Miami may have slipped some on the field, but this matchup has no Week 2 competition when it comes to off the field talent.
Week 3: Ohio State at Southern Cal.
The biggest regular season football game in LA in years. Expect appearances from ladies in a variety of entertainment fields. Ohio State may even bring a few of their own. Honorable Mentions: Georgia at South Carolina, Arkansas at Texas.

Week 4: Georgia at Arizona State.
Brutal and debatable decision here. Late September is where the action steps up. In reality this choice would probably come down to which campus is most conducive to Herbstreit’s speed dial. In the end we couldn’t pass on an SEC collision with Tempe. Honorable Mentions: Florida at Tennessee, LSU at Auburn, Alabama at Arkansas, Miami at Texas A&M, Arizona at UCLA.

Week 5: Tennessee at Auburn.
War Eagle Sundresses! Gets the nod over Alabama/Georgia since UGA was featured the previous week. Honorable Mentions: Alabama at Georgia, Ole Miss at Florida, Fresno State at UCLA.
Week 6: Florida State at Miami.
The sheer volume of sets of fakies invading South Beach from the panhandle in Week 6 makes this an easy choice. Honorable Mentions: Ohio State at Wisconsin, Arizona State at Cal, Oregon at USC.

Week 7: Texas vs. Oklahoma (Dallas).
With LSU/Florida and Tennessee/Georgia being a toss up, the Gameday crew decides to show the ladies of the Big 12 a little love as they head to Dallas for the Red River Shootout. Honorable Mentions: Arizona State at Southern Cal, Tennessee at Georgia, LSU at Florida.
Week 8: LSU at South Carolina.
With a weaker field in Week 8 Gameday heads to the asphalt of Columbia where the talent level is far better than most recognize. Honorable Mention: Ole Miss at Alabama.
Week 9: Alabama at Tennessee.
Another SEC toss up with this game edging out Georgia/LSU since LSU was featured the previous week and the potential to party with Bruce Pearl. Honorable mentions: Georgia at LSU, Penn State at Ohio State.

Week 10: Florida vs. Georgia (Jacksonville).
Absolutely no way the Gameday crew misses the Cocktail Party. Corso even admitted his peenie moved a little just thinking about it.
Week 11: Clemson at Florida State.
To show a conference outside of the SEC a little love — and to avoid bottles to the head — the crew chooses the talent at Bowden Bowl over the talent at LSU/Alabama. Besides, Herby has his own room at the Zeta house in Tallahassee. Honorable Mention: Alabama at LSU.
Week 12: Arizona at Oregon.
In a shocking move Gameday departs from the Southeast and heads to Eugene where the Ducks’ cheerleaders play an integral role in the broadcast. Honorable Mentions: South Carolina at Florida, Georgia at Auburn.

Week 13: Michigan at Ohio State.
That’s right ladies of the Big Ten, you’re the only show in town this week and Gameday is finally giving you your chance to shine. Let’s hit the gym and drop the baggy sweatshirts off at Goodwill.
Week 14: Auburn at Alabama.
For rivalry week the crew heads to one of the few spots in the nation where both schools bring something to the table in the coed department. Things get shady at the Iron Bowl, in the good way. Honorable Mentions: UCLA at Arizona State (Friday game), Florida at Florida State.
Week 15: USC at UCLA.
In the final abbreviated week prior to conference championships the Gameday crew heads back to Southern California where the weather is nice and the coeds are still banging. It’s been a good year.

The amazing part of constructing this list is realizing how many of these selections will probably be the actual Gameday sites. Just more fuel for our “Herbstreit has the best life EVER” argument.
We’re sure there will be some debate (feel free), and we’re sure we have our biases (what northeastern part of the country?), but the one thing we know for certain is there would be a lot worse ways to spend your Fall.
